HI

I am currently living in California and plan to file my N-400 this month. I was wondering what are the restrictions on traveling once I have filed my N-400. I know and understand the residency and travel requirements PRIOR to filing but what am I allowed to do afterwards? I know that I will have to return to Cali for my interviews and such. Please note that I am not changing my residency just wanting to know if I can take a trip. Thank you for your assistance.

No restrictions for international travel. Bring the details of you trip or trips to the interview (date left, date returned and country) and it will be added to your application. Same applies if you travel after your interview, you will provide the detailsto the officer before you take the oath.
