My BF is on an H1B visa. His six years will be over this Sept 2012. His employer recently filed his GC so he is at the initial stage. I am a Green Card holder who will file for citizenship this Sept 2012. We are planning to be married this July 2012.

1) Is there a way to have another extension on his H1B?

2) Lets say his H1B cannot be renewed - Is there a way to have the spouse of a Green Card stay in US?

3) Any advice out there which can help us not having him to leave the US for a long period of time while my citizenship is done.

Any advice to us very much welcome.

Thank you in advance.

J
