i have a question for anyone who have completed the K1 process already. Is it possible to go ahead and get your police record and non-impediment to marriage (jamaican filers) before you actually get your packet ? i know its not possible to get do medical without packet 4. Just wanna be pro active

i would advice you to wait until you get your interview date to do the police record so that the date would be close to your interview date where the no-inpediment is concern i would advice you to go ahead and do it i paid for express and trust me i didnt get it the time they said i would it took 2-3 weeks :angry:

Agree about getting the Non-impediment. We're hitting the 10 mark and we paid for express. In fact he's there again today to see if it ready. I think we paid somewhere between $70-80 for non-impediment. Get that one going now. You'll have it ready for the interview.

Non-Impediment picked up!! One down - one to go. Heading to get police report now. Then off to print, sign, scan and return the DS230 - Part 1. Ready to send off to the embassy when the case finally reaches...HOPEFULLY Monday!
