interview.. Do I really need to be there?

When my fiance has her interview in Manila, I was just curious if I really need to fly over there to attend it with her? As much as I would love to be there with her, I would also like to save the $1000 plane ticket and other expense money for when she comes over here. I have heard that a lot of the time they prefer the fiance to go to interview alone anyway as that way it doesn't seem like she is being pressured into something she doesn't want to do...

Save your money to buy your sweetie a welcome home gift :) She will be fine without you being at the interview. We wish you the best of luck (F)
