Hi. I've been having trouble getting in my paperwork in until now. I've received the Packet 3 instructions from the consulate and got my Medical done (and they sent the results to the consulate) but I had this done before I sent in my DS-230 forms and I read that they "wont process the case until the DS-230 Biographic forms" have been filled in and sent, so what I'm wondering is would they have those results on hand or would they have been dropped/discarded because my case wasn't being processed and if that is the case should I then just send the copies of the results I got back in the mail with the other forms I'm about to send off now?

Also I've been reading some other posts on the board about asking for an extension of this four month period (which I believe I can do) but they haven't been clear to me so sorry if this has been asked (I went back several pages and couldn't find anything) several times but how do I apply for an extension because I don't think with what could be less than a month left (I believe) I'll have enough time to be interviewed.

I've gone through alot of pages here on this board and I'm still having trouble. Sorry if these questions have been asked lots of times before but I couldn't find the exact information I was looking for. Thanks for your time.

The US embassy extends the petition automatically. No need to extend unless you are expecting an extremely long delay. Then you would contact the US embassy and let them know about said delay so they do not think you abandoned your case.

Your files sit and wait for the rest of your papers to show up. Then when they have all the papers they put it into their system. Then after everything is logged into the system they are ready for interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
