Hello Everyone,

I'm a newbie. My husband was a sex offender 15 years ago. He's name was taken out from the sex offender list after 10 years that he did the crime. It was taken out for 5 years now. He sent a I-130 petition for my minor son. It was approved, no RFE, no NOID or NOIR. I'm not sure if the USCIS didn't find out about his crime during the background check. The form that he fill out for the I-130 application, there is no questions about the crime that he committed. The case was just completed at the NVC. We are waiting for the visa interview schedule now.

Our concern was:

1. during the visa interview is it possible that the CO will deny the visa because of my husband's previous sex offender conviction 15 years ago?

2. what is our chance to get an approval during the interview?

3. what we should do to avoid this problem?

Please help us. Thanks
