When you arrived at Narita someone will assist you of where you need to go, give you instructions and will take you to the waiting area for a bus that will go to Haneda aiport with estimated one hour and half travel time. I am not sure if the system is still the same cause my experience was a year ago.

You might want to check but I think you will need a visa.

Since you have to clear customs and leave the arriving airport you will need a visa to do that.

Please check because I would hate for you to get there and are denied going to Haneda

Please check with Japan Airlines I do not want you to run into any problems.

Embassy of Japan in the Philippines s

VISA FOR TRANSIT

Purpose of going to Japan is to stop by or make a short visit on the way to/from other country(ies)

Your Airline company may apply for shore pass for your convenience if you do not have a transit visa.

However, you need to obtain this visa unless you have special and valid reasons.

Please check before you travel with the Airline you are booked with.

Hello Vjers,

I saw this topic. My boyfriend had me booked for a Jal flight Manila-Narita-Haneda-Sanfo for June 15, Please help me understand, do i need a transit visa? is this something i need to file here or is it available in narita airport? I am travelling alone so I wanted to make sure my travel would be as smooth and worry free as possible.

Also, on the japan embassy in manila website, why do i need a bank certificate if im just transferring airports?

has anyone here had this kind of experience.

Thank you.

Razel
