Resident Alien Number! HELP!

Hello All VJ members,

I have a question regarding my Alien Resident Number. I am applying to school and for their admission, I need to put my LAien Resident Number. My husband (US citizen) and I are in the process of AOS from my B1/B2 visa. The school lists that ONLY conditional and permanenent green card holders can apply to it. I was wodnering if I can apply to the school and put my A# that I have listed on all my USCIS receipts or that I should wait until I receive my conditional green card to apply. Is the conditional green card alien resident number DIFFERENT from the A# listed on USCIS receipts?
