Hey everyone.

I have couple of questions regarding AOS form. Im a graduate student and currently not working. I have my dad as my co sponser. So when filling out AOS form, is he the one putting his name plus his signture and taxes for last 3 years? Do I need to send my taxes for last three years even though I made less than 5000.00. Thanks

You both need to fill out the I-864 and write a letter of explanation as to why you didn't file taxes for the last 3 years, primarily due to your low income.

Your father must provide his most recent tax year record. He can also submit the last 3 years to show proof that he can establish his income. I would submit all 3 years due to your low income.

Check out page 8 #25 of the I-864 Instructions.

2003 - met online

12-09-2010 - met for the first time

12-11-2010 - engaged

06-07-2011 - married

09-27-2011 - I-130 sent

09-29-2011 - NOA1

04-04-2012 - I-130 approved

05-14-2012 - NVC Case number received

06-26-2012 - Case completed

08-02-2012 - VISA APPROVED :)
