EA/AP Card before Biometrics appt!!

Hi guys - newby here.

I got my receipt notices on Jan 28 but didn't receive a biometrics appointment notice for 6 weeks and it was yesterday. However, I received my Employment Auth / Advanced Parole card on Monday. That seems a bit strange?

Also, the security guard inside the local USCIS asked me if I was married, and when I said no he asked 'why' and then proceeded to ask me out. How rude!! haha.
