Hello all of you,

I am an active user of K-3 and CR-1 forums, but for the first time I am posting in this forum.

Okay, the situation is I got married on the 23rd of June, my wife applied for K-3 and CR-1 as you can see from my timeline. Now the situation is that I applied for H-1b on the 29th of Sept and was put on background check and today I received my visa. I am going to be moving to US on the 20th of October. I am evaluating the options now.

1. If I do an AOS with the approved I-130 from H-1b, how much time does it take normally, not the USCIS times, just based on past experiences EXCLUDING background check.

2. How soon can I get an EAD? If I can get it earlier then I might want to drop the K-3 alltogether.

10/27/11 RFE response received and is being reviewed - even though I didn't get any RFE or responded to one!

11/11/11 Notification for Placed in que for oath ceremony

11/15/11 Notification for Oath being scheduled

11/18/11 N-445 Oath letter received

12/15/11 Oath Ceremony - Its all over! I AM FINALLY A US CITIZEN!
