CR1 Visa turn around time and delivery?

Im not sure if this is Embassy specific, visa specific or the same everywhere so i thought here was the best place to ask! Sorry if its in the wrong place!

I had my interview on Friday in London.. and i got approved!! :D

Anyways..

After the interview i explained that my husband already had booked leave for the 5th April (because he cant any other time due to military reasons) and i was hoping to travel back on the 5th. She told me that my visa was going to be printed on Tuesday and then they would hand it over to the delivery service.

The lady at the desk then told me it would take 7-10 days for my to get my visa, but on the back of my recipt it says they try and deliver the next working day.

Do they say 7-10 days to cover themselves on delays or is 7-10 days a realistic time frame for me to recieve my passport back?

If anyone has had their interview recently, how long did it take for you to recieve your passport back, is wanting to travel on the 5th unrealistic?

TIA everyone! Hope your all having a great day!
