hello everybody

i just got my k3 visa 3 days ago, and my wife got the affidavid form for our I-130 process, i'm just confused about what we should do, i don't know anything about this ,

and i don't know when i should start AOS when i arrive to the states,

what are next steps i should do as i got my k3 visa now,

one more question : is there is special POE , i heard that people choose JFK cause they get a temporary work permit.

i wish you all goodluck in your process and i hope i will find answers for my questions

atbir,

You should read up on your options and then decide if you want to adjust status or pursue an immigrant visa.

No EAD on entry for a K3.

you have 2 choices. Come to the US with your K3 and then apply to adjust status. Or come to the US with your K3 and continue along with the CR1 process as its started. Actualy, 3 choices. You could also just stay where you are and finish up the CR1 stuff. That'll be a few months tho.

It all depends if you want to spend the money for a return trip home in the next few months, or stay in the US to save the expense.

Hello,

You just move to the US on the K-3 visa, apply for the AOS, EAD and the Advance Parole in order to move out of the US while your AOS case is pending. The EAD will not be issued at the POE. You just need to apply for it and it will be issued in 90 days time and will be good for 1 year.
