We just called the EMS service and they said that the Consulate has not given Thu's passport to EMS. It has been 1 week since Thu got the pink paper. I guess we have to wait another few days before the Consulate gives it to EMS. After they get it, I think it should take a couple of days in shipping. This is a prime example of why we are advised never to make travel plans until you have the visa in your hand

They do not use regular mail. It's EMS courier and your fiancée should have the number to call and check. Once the consulate gives EMS the passport with the visa in it it should arrive the same day or next day.

My girl called a couple of times and they said the consulate hasn't given them the passport. The day day said they just received the passport it was delivered to my fiancée's apartment in just a couple of hours.

Guys I know you're just trying to help but if you don't know the answer just don't answer. Saying stuff like this is misinformation and just serves to make people worry unnecessarily.
