Hi All -

Background : Our case is at the Embassy. Packet 3 sent on Feb 6th. We never received. We sent the response of packet 3 by downloading from website couple of weeks back.

While i called DOS to check , they mentioned we are in Administrative Processing.

anyone has any idea what this means ? ( Usually its AP after interview ? )

07-20-2012: Biometrics Appt/Case received by CSC

08-15-2012: EAD/AP Approved

01-07-2013: 1st Service Request ( Outside Processing Time )

02-24-2013: 2nd Service Request ( Outside Processing Time )

03-22-2013: AOS Approval without Interview

03-27-2013: Greencard Received

For the New Delhi embassy it took them 1.5 months to schedule the interview after packet 3 was sent. VFS emails said "They will schedule at the earliest date" while DOS said "Administrative Processing". I think its normal and its the amount of time it takes them to process 'packet 3' to schedule an interview.

Interview Date : 2012-01-20

Interview Result : Administrative Processing for Beneficiary past Studies

Visa Received : 2012-02-27 (AP over)

US Entry : 2012-03-06

Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 85 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 214 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.
