Hi, a few weeks back I went for an infopass appointment at which I received my ead and in the process got pic taken and fingerprinted, this I thought was my biometrics, (was it ?) now I have received an appointment for to go and get my biometrics captured as they put it. I am thinking it's better just to go than trying to phone and ask for explanation.

Also my ead has about 7 weeks to go, how do you apply for another one

Ps hope everyone is making steady progress on their journey to be with their loved ones

Best regards Scotty

The appointment for Biometrics will be for your AOS and EAD... the ones you had done were just for your interim EAD... so yes go to the appointment you should get your 1 years EAD soon after...
