correction in applicant's name in the nvc

How will i know that the correction we made on my immigrant applicant's name reaches the NVC? I sent it by email and enclosed a copy of the new passport. Do they will send me a notice by email also that they received it and they did the correction?Thanks.

Yes you should get a response in 2-3 business days, if you don't hear anything from them, give them a call and speak to one of the operators.

Hello I have a problem with my name in NVC. My name before I was married is

First name: Kristin Marie

Middle Name: Bilda

Last name: Lacuesta

Now that I am married the name that I am using is:

First name: Kristin Marie

Middle name: Lacuesta

Last name: Flores

I am based in the Philippines that is why that's how we make our names when marrid. an later When I will get my passport I will use my married name. My problem is, I received the checklist from NVC to mail the required documents and I saw that my name is like this:

First Name: Krstin

Middles Name: Marie

Last Name: Flores

I am so confused now, I feel like I am in trouble. I am yet to get my passport until the 16th of April, but I am told already that i cannot get a passport following the names that is used by NVC. What should I do to correct my name? Should I correct it when i mail the documents or should I email them now. Seriously I am feeling frustrated right now, i don't want to start all over, I want to be with the hubby already please help me!!

what i did in my case, i send them an e-mail, stating the error on my applicants name,they addressed it to my maiden name while i am using and applying for visa using my married name.i noticed that they base it on my old passport that my husband didn't notice.what i did is, i sent a copy of my new passport with a biographic page, and after 4 days, they corrected it .i received a e-mail coming from nvc.
