Dear All,

I have been in the usa visiting my husband for 8 days and due to return. I want to come back for anniversary in April - would the two visits pose an issue at POE? I had no problems getting through POE this time round but I am obviously concerned due to two visits being so close together. Has anyone done this and had any issues?

Also, in regards to the Visa Medical, I have self harmed only once and never, ever again (deepish scar) but have small scratches from other accidents. Would this cause me a problem at the medical. I have already researched this topic on UK forum members and all have seemed to be approved without issue. I just wanted to see if anyone has had any recent experience of this. I was placed on antidepressants (not for depression and was never diagnosed with depression). I am now well and healthy and have no mental health concerns whatsoever. Would I need to tick suffered with depression on the questionnaire for the medical paperwork? This is one of the few things I am really worried over. My husband and I have already spoken with an immigration attorney who said this wouldnt be a concern at the medical and that everything should be okay. I am just concerned this will be a red flag.

Any help on the above concerns VJ members would be much appreciated.

I love my husband!!

I do not see an issue with coming back in April, if you have never overstayed and you have always had a return ticket and been honest with them about your visit you should be fine! The only thing i would add is bring some proof of ties to your country if you havent done previously just incase they ask :) Better to be over prepaired than under right?

In regards to the medical, I had mine on the 6th feb and I have never self harmed but i was on anti depressants for a while, i got a letter from my GP and in it she stated that i was at no harm to myself, others or property when i got to the medical exam she did ask me if i had self harmed to which i said no, but when i told her i sufferd from depression she was very good about it she did ask me a few questions but aslong as they are convinced you arent likly to do it again then you will be fine :) good luck!

Thank you. I hope it will be okay. I have a letter from my doctor who doesnt think it will be a problem. I have spoken to our attorney who said it shouldnt be an issue but I just want to be sure nothing can prevent me from obtaining my visa. Thank you so much again for your help
