Hey there VJers! I'm still waiting on our NOA2 (come on VSC let today be our lucky day!!), but getting everything together to send over for the next step... quick question(s):

For the I-134 I have gathered 2 months of pay stubs, 3 years of my 1040's, 3 years of W2's, signed work letter with all of the pertinent information, 2 months of most recent bank statements. Do I need the tax transcripts from the IRS or does what I have listed meet the requirements? (Interview will be at the Manila Consulate)

Also - I have life insurance through work for 2x my annual salary... if I put that on the 1-134, do I need to provide anything to support this?

One final question! Should I list the value of my 401k in the section for stocks / bonds and include statements? Or do 401ks not count as they are retirement assets.

Thanks for your input and help!

If you more than meet or exceed the poverty guideline, you do not need insurance info, 401K info and bank statements. You only include other financial information

if you do not meet or exceed the poverty guidelines.

You still have time to order the IRS Tax transcripts as they are less bulkier than your 1040's. It is free to order them through irs.gov and it only takes a week to receive

them. Good luck to you!

I agree with dindo and patty's suggestion. But I would like to share with u my fiance's most recent experience on his interview last feb 6, 2012 wherein he pass with flying colors. I sent him the i-134 dated very fresh 1 week before the interview including the employment letter they took 6 months of my original paystubs.even the cenomar and NBI was dated 1 week before the interview. My 1040 for 2010 that hr & block prepared for me that was electronically filed.. I even signed it and the original 2009 & 2008 tax transcript they also took it and of course the copy of my w2s .No other requirements was ask from him. So I would suggest and encourage that if u can submit the most fresh dates prior to ur interview schedule of those documents I believe would help. God bless on ur journey!
