Once you enter the US on the immigration visa, your passport will receive a I-551 stamp which serves as a temporary green card valid for one year. You can reenter the US using the I-551 stamp as long as it is valid.

To maintain your legal permanent residency, you must maintain ties to the US. You cannot use the green card to "visit" the US. If you stay out of the US for too long (more than 6 months) and you fail to maintain ties to the US, your green card can be revoked. In addition, all green card holders are required to file US tax returns, so make sure you apply for a Social Security Number.

thanks for the answer.I checked on google and I found out that POE officer stamps the paaport with I-551, but with my case it's says "UPON ENDORSEMENT SERVES AS TEMPORARY I-551 EVIDENCING PERMANENT RESIDENCING FOR 1 YEAR" on the visa. This means that IS the officer going stamp it with a regular stamp and not the I-551? Does the note on the visa enough to enter back to the state? Please I need an answer.

The I-551 stamp is the same thing as the endorsement. You'll be fine.
