Hi there!

We are filling out our G-325As, and have met a slight problem when filling out the petitioner's father's name. She has absolutely no knowledge of her biological father, other than the fact that he lives somewhere in South Korea. No name, no DOB, no place of birth.

The petitioner was raised by her mother and step father, so to top it off, her step father is listed in the marriage certificate as the bride's "father."

Could this pose any problems with the USCIS? We are aware that they're pretty meticulous.

What we are planning to do is to list her father's name, dob and place of birth as unknown, write South Korea as place of residence, and attach a supplement to the G-325A explaining why her father is listed as unknown on the G-325A, while her "father's name" does appear on the marriage certificate.

The petitioner has taken her step father's last name at age 10, and he was her legal guardian, but she was never formally adopted by him.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
