Chennai to Mumbai Transfer case

Folks,

As you must be knowing that all Immigrant case from Chennai is moving to Mumbai. I would like to track those cases.

Could you please tell

1) If anyone got interview schedule from mumbai whose case originally in chennai

2) was the file trasnferred from chennai to mumbai and when did you get the new case number

I am waiting for nay updates fro mumbai but not got any yet,

Officially Chennai Consulate has not given much info about this. They will make bold announcement soon with alot of info ( Hopefully )

My case was completed dated Dec 7th, and I got my new BMB case number on that day. So far, things are not clear about how everything will go forward.

Even Mumbai Consulate made an announcement for appointments from Jan 1st to Jan 17th and 2 appointments for Jan 30. So overall, they still would be plan to schedule more appointments between Jan 18th to Jan 30th.

I have called to NVC, and they said that they are still busy to schedule more appointments for Mumbai. Lets wait and see what happen ahead.

May I ask how long did it take for your case to be completed from the time you submitted all the forms ? I am still waiting for my case to be completed & don know how long i got to wait ? Also, i am guessing we wont know our BMB case number till its completed , as i also had Chennai consulate .
