Hello Everyone, I read the forum several times a day now as my day gets closer (at least I hope that it is closer) To read approvals every day is a motivation. Thanks for sharing.

I sent in my I129F packet and it was received by the USCIS on 08/10/2011. It's almost four months. I am planning to leave on December 28 and spend 5 weeks with my fiancee in his native country. Of course I am hoping to receive an approval and who knows maybe catch the interview while I am over there. I know we have to fill out a DS156. In the meantime what else can I take with me so that if it is needed I won't panic and will have everything ready. I was thinking of my tax returns from last year and I will file my taxes online while I am over there. It should not be a problem since I am self employed and have disability retirement. I am going to take a copy of the I129F packet that I already sent in. I have three letters from three US citizens ( one of them is my son) who vacationed with me and my fiancee last summer and We have loads of photos together and with our witnesses too.

What if they call my fiancee for the interview after I leave the country? Do I have to be there?

Can anyone think of anything else? I can use help here. Thank you so much in advance for your suggestions.
