If you live in Vancouver and are applying for a K-1 visa, you will have your interview at the US Consulate in Vancouver - no options.

As for when, you would need to contact them to schedule it.

Thanks for the reply. But yesterday I was in medical and most of them having interview in montreal and they live in Vancouver aswell so I got confused. And now I'm stress. Coz I have no idea where my interview is going to be held. And right now is kinda tight of budget coz is holiday. I hope they consider Vancouver for me.. Please pray for us... Thank you in advance

Ok. According to your timeline your I-129F has been approved. So you should probably have received your NOA2 approval notice from USCIS.

Within a week or two after you get your I-129F NOA2, you should receive a letter from the National visa Center (NVC) where they tell you that they have received your petition and are forwarding it the appropriate consulate (which for you, as a K-1 applicant living in Western Canada, will definitely be Vancouver). This letter will also have a consulate case number that starts with "VAC".

A week or two after you get that letter, if you have not received a package from the Vancouver consulate with instructions for applying for your actual visa, email the Vancouver consulate at "VancouverK@state.gov" and ask what you need to be doing. They will probably tell you to download some forms and checklists and instructions from their website.

I'm not even sure how you got an appointment at the Woking medical clinic without a consulate case number.

My fiancee was also in Vancouver yesterday doing her medical. She also said the vast majority of these people were having to go to Monteal for their interviews. I think that they are applying on a different type of visa or something like that (not K1 or family visa).

You need to set up an appointment with the consulate to get an interview time. You should be sent instructions (packet 4) on how to do that after you fax the consulate that you have everything in the checklist (packet 3) they sent you.

You are able to get an appointment with Woking with only your case number, which you receive in packet 3 (your petitioner gets it even earlier) regardless of whether you've set up your visa interview or not.

Thanks to all I received my packet 3 last oct and case number start VAC. And I already sent the checklist and ds-230 part one. So I guess I'm having interview in Vancouver. For now I'm waiting for my packet 4, hopefully it will come soon.

Hmmm... We got our packet 4 less than a week after we faxed in the checklist. I would try emailing them, I've heard if you ask they can just email you packet 4. In fact, there isn't any important information in packet 4 at all, just a link to their website where you can schedule an appointment, which you can find on this site somewhere.. Anyway, best of luck!

K visas are in Vancouver for anyone west of Manitoba.

Montreal does K visas and CR-1/IR-1 visas (for spouses of US citizens). If people in Vancouver HAD to go to Montreal they were probably getting an IR/CR-1 Visa.
