Time it takes to get an interview at US embassy Tokyo?

I received an expedite in our case at the US embassy Tokyo, and shortly after approving it, they requested (by email) that we request an interview week and what our intended date of travel is. Well, we responded to that email right away, and still have not heard a response. I heard it normally only takes 14 days to hear back with an interview day, and it has been over that already. I am very concerned because our case is supposed to be under expedite, and it is at a stand still. The week we requested for his interview is actually THIS week that is now over (today is friday) =(. I even used the call service and PAID for it, and all they did was submit another request on our behalf. but that was all. they said we should hear back in 3-5 business days. His intended date to travel to the US is December 1 (two weeks from today), and im terrified that he wont even have an interview by then. Does anyone know a more effective way to get in contact with the one making the appointments?? We need it as soon as possible.

Was finally contacted by the embassy last night! Persistance Persistance! Interview scheduled!!
