AoS - Will I need to do another medical?

Hi guys,

I got married the weekend before last after entering the US on a K-1 visa. This forum has been most helpful. We are gathering our documentation for the AoS forms.

We will be sending off my application within 12 months of the medical I did for the US Embassy. I have the vaccination form and the overview letter about my medical from the doctor who conducted that medical. It does say in the guidelines (for AoS) that if I apply within year of the that medical, that I will not be required to take one.

Is this the case in practise? I intend to include my copy of the standardised US form for the required vaccines and maybe the letter.

What are people's experiences with this? I am only concerned because: a) I don't want to spend even more money on something I shouldn't have to and b) I don't want the process delayed.

The doctor signed off on everything and I did receive a number of shots at the medical.

Did you include any supporting evidence in your AoS application for the medical?

What does your DS-3025 say - vaccinations complete or vaccinations incomplete (blanket waiver)?

I included my DS-3025 copy from the medical exam in my home country and I-693 from a civil surgeon here in the US (as my DS-3025 was marked incomplete).

If your DS-3025 is incomplete you may choose to go see a civil surgeon for the vaccination table transcription ONLY.
