Hello guys! I've been reading visajourney.com for quite sometime now since Ive been preparing documents for I-130 and I-485 filing. Before anything else, I would like to thank you first for your help! Back to my situation. I am F-1 visa holder married to US citizen (oct. 19, 2011 was his oath taking! :)). Now I am preparing I-130 and I-485 together, like I said earlier, as I think it's faster than I-130 alone first. My questions are:

1.) Is it true that filing together of the said two forms is faster?

2.) I am having hard time understanding Part 2 (Application Type) of I-485. I guess I should choose the first option (An immigration petition giving me an immediate available visa #.....) but I don't have yet the approval notice of a certain application (I think its the approved I-130, isn't it?). Or should I choose 2nd option (My spouse applied for adjustment of status or granted LPR...)

Thank you very much in advance!

I'll start my own journey right now! :)
