Wife has two different names on her US and home country passport, only uses her home country passport to enter and leave her home country, Hasn't a darn thing to do with her airline ticket, uses her US passport for that where her ticket and US passport name are the same.

Actually its more fun for me, because her wedding ring comes off, and I no longer have to say, "yes dear" traveling into her home country with my girlfriend. Another reason for doing that, is to register our marriage in her home country, they want 3,000 US bucks to look over our paper work, screw them. Bad enough we have to pay extra for that passport.

Gather you can change your name as many times as you want to, call that an alias. But to get anything done with the government will want to see that paper trail. Its okay as long as you want to carry stack of papers with you.
