Greeting everyone,

My application was recieved at VSC on Aug 20th. I was sent an RFE to submitt a Fingerprint based State Clearnce. The notice also stated that my application failed to meet the requirments for Prima Facie approval and the only requirment listed was a submission of a Good Moral Character from State Police Identifications. I have submitted that clearance letter and nw their system shows " RFE Response Review", but I have not heard anything from them yet. I was expecting a Prima Facie Approval Letter that usually comes shrotly afterwords.

I know many of you have been through same process so please let me know;

1) Does the system shows "Prima Facie Approval sent" once they issue that?

2) Is it normal from time frame point of view, for VSC to take this long for issunace of Prima Facie Approval?

Thanks in advance.

I had a similar situation didnt send my police clearance with the initial application they sent a RFE for that .They wrote me the same letter that I didnt establish a prima facie but after I sent that police clearance it took a month for me to receive my prima facie.So that august 20 you received RFE then you sent it september you should receive something soon.The system wont be update to "prima facie establishment" It will surprise you my vawa case was approved in August but my potifolio still shows RFE response review some uscis updates sometimes not .Dont despair be strong.

Ladyg! Thank you so much for your reply. I actually sent back the RFE and Police Clearance within four days of recieving the RFE. I hope I will get Prima Facie Approval soon. Thank you again for your kind words and support.
