Hi

I just wanted to post this info for others who are due to have their K1 interview at the London Embassy. The interview letter I got sent me to a web link where it said I should pay the visa fees on the day at the embassy. I was expecting to call the expensive phone number and pay in advance, but the letter said otherwise so I went with that. They only asked for my appointment letter and passport on entry - got in no problem without the mrv receipt. At the first interview stage the lady went through my paperwork, asked a few questions then 'have you paid for the visa?' - I hadn't so was simply asked to go pay at the cashier (2 windows along) then come straight back with the receipt. More useful info: taking you're fiance's credit card details so you can pay in dollars and save on the exchange rate doesn't work - you must have a physical card in your own name since you must sign for it (hey, it was worth a try, I had my own card anyway so paid without a problem). Interview all easy and relaxed. Yay I got my visa approved and get to see my hun soon :) Good luck to all who are still going through the process.
