Hi all,

I have a question about the Criminal Record, I have read all the instructions and am still wondering. heres the situation.

I was married 2 times, going through the 2nd divorce now. Both were with American Born women, The second one had a problem with Alcohol, and after a year really went bonkers, Came home from work one day and she Physically starting hitting me, I grabbed her arms to push her off, when i did she called the Police, and said i Hit her. Well she then went and used the system to get a restraining order against me. Im in the process of getting the divorce now and the restraining order will be taken off. Ok here is my question, I asked a girl to marry me when my divorce is final( She knows all about what happened) and i need to apply for a K-1 visa. My question is will it be very difficult to get one with the Restraing order in my background????? Any help will be appreciated. Oh and by the way, i havent had no contact with my EX in over 2 years, So this isnt something that i was rushing into. Thanks guys for any feedback
