Hello-

We applied for a K1 Visa and got denied due to long ago convictions. He was then approved on the 601 Waiver and his

Passport was picked up end of August. It has not been returned as yet with his visa in it.

My questions/concerns are:

-What can he expect to get back? Will there be a packet explaining next steps with forms?

-Re the completion of the 485, and the Section 3, 1b question of convictions...what backup documents if any

are needed?

-What are all the forms required to complete AOS within those 90 days?

-The fact that we have to submit information again about his old convictions when we have waited Two Years to get

the approved 601 is confusing to me...what exact info do they need again since they had it all and approved it?My

question is is a Statement from him enough, we called the Courts and they wont provide any statements that his records

have been stepped down, as the ACPO and Memorandum of Convictions proved that.

-When he gets jobs and employment in America, does he have to answer yes to the question of any Felonies?

-Has there ever been a record of anyone getting approved the 601 and then getting married and then

kicked out on the 485?

-And lastly, when he gets the K1 Visa, does he need to buy Roundtrip ticket or can he buy a one way ticket to the US?

Thanks for any help you can provide...its so challenging!
