Flight question

Hi!

My boyfriend and I are currently trying to find a flight ticket for him

I found two possible options:

1) He comes earlier, but the flight has 2 stops (1st stop in Frankfurt and we would just come and pick him up there so he doesnt have to wait three hours to catch another flight to munich.)

The question is...can ge do that? Can he just not board or will that cause complications?

2)Well the other option is of course him coming later...but that would mean we'd have two days less to spend together. :( this flight is only 7$ cheaper...

I really don't know what to do. The main question is...can ge just not board? Will there be problems with his luggage going automatically to munich?

my lover is mine and i am his.

If you leave any portion of your flight combination on a ticket unused, all flights after the unused portion are also voided. So if he wants to return using the return flights on that same ticket, those are no longer valid if he leaves the last leg (Frankfurt-Munich) unused.

The luggage usually does get removed from a plane if the passenger disappears between flight changes, but he will probably (or can) also be presented with an additional bill for the luggage removal.

So if those flights are for a return journey, don't just hop off in Frankfurt. Or you will have to buy a separate return ticket and will get bad karma with that airline.

Check other airlines, and directly on the websites as well (at least AA and Delta) for any alternative route, day, time of flight etc. If the only two options that are really available are those available, make him pack a few good books, and then meet him in Munich.
