AOS for a Naturalized Citizen - I130 approved when I was GC

I got married to my wife three years ago, she obtained a tourist visa and kept on going back and fourth between US and Egypt every six months, and she never broker her allowed stay time. Last year when she was entering the US, the customs officer was really nasty to her and allowed her because she's been staying in the US more than Egypt which practically makes US her residence (I can't disagree with him) and she would need to start a GC processes, We asked a lawyer and he said the I-130 processing times are down significantly and it would not be a bad idea to apply now. Which we did and the I-130 was approved in January. That was around when the whole revolution happened that's why I didn't want to send the application to get a number in the US embassy in Cairo because they had it closed for a couple of months and I wanted things to stabilize before we send the papers there, we also went on a 4 months assignment to Germany around the same time. I came back in June applied for USC and was under the impression this processes will take between 9 months to a year based on some posts and my similar experience with my friends. We also planned for my wife to come back in August which she did ( the ticket was purchased in January). Now my papers went very fast and I received the interview notice on the same week when she arrived and I am now a USC.

I was working on the I-485 since she is back in the US however I was reading about the visa fraud issue and I don't want to do anything wrong.... What advise would you give me, should i go through with the AOS alone or should I go to a lawyer???
