I searched the forum for this topic, but I don't know if my question is redundant. Here is the situation. My fiance who lives in France, wants to visit me in the US before his interview( which hasn't been scheduled yet). He wants to visit me in October.

He did receive a package to gather his military, police records etc... two weeks ago, but has not sent it back yet to the US Embassy in Paris because he wants to see me before the interview. So, my question is; Can he delay sending those initial documents or will doing so forfeit our K1 visa process or just delay it? Does he need to contact the US Embassy and ask for an extension? Can he visit me in the US before his interview?

Thank you and blessings.. :)
