packet 3 ?

Hello guys I have a question. about how long does it take to get packet 3 ?

My fiancée has still not received it yet. HCMC it's been 1 month now .

Any idea ?

call DoS and ask for a status update.. they will tell you if it has been sent and when

OP - If already sent by consulate you can download forms ds 230 and ds 2001 ( I think that's the form) and send them to consulate. My fiancée never received packet 3.

Packet is available at HCMC consulate web site.

I was just wondering if you have received a response yet from the consulate. We too never received packet 3 only a letter with instructions to send in forms 2001 and 230 part 1. Which they received Sept 1st.

On Sept 9th the same day as your posting... they sent back this reply back to us.

"Thank you for submitting the form DS230 on behalf of the beneficiary. We have updated our records accordingly. We have also updated the beneficiary's address as provided on the form DS230.

Our office will schedule an appointment at the earliest opportunity. As soon as a date has been set, our office sends out notification by mail known as Appointment Letter. Appointment Letter indicates the date and time the applicant must appear at the Consulate General for the visa interview, as well as a link to our website with instruction on how to obtain the medical examination and information on document requirements. Please contact us at the end of each month for further information about the appointment date"

I am so frustrated! Next week I plan to send them another email asking about the Interview date.
