Just my experience, but my interview for an I-130 was a complete disaster. The inspector was such a tool, I felt like I was in the vice principal's office in high school, or having a cop write me a jaywalking ticket. He basically called me and my wife liars and pretty much demanded hard to get documentation in triplicate. I sent my wife abroad at great expense to collect the info. She mixed business with huge amounts of vodka and wound up murdering someone in a brawl (I'm not yet sure if this to my benefit or not.)

These ICE dirt bags hide behind a wall of invisibility and it was only after I contacted the State Department that I was able to get through to them and at least resume the process for my daughter. Fast forward to OK and final interview, the consular official was courteous, humane and seemed more interested in helping a US citizen than anything else. I felt like I was dealing with entirely different organizations, maybe I was? So in the end I wonder why a US citizen needs to suffer this tyranny. Why do these petty officials have so much power and we citizens have so little access to redress? What is to be done about this, what can we do to bring these fascists to heel?
