OK NEED URGENT HELP ON THIS ONE

Right ok...so I rang the US EMBASSY in London to see if they got our packet 3 back. The Royal Mail is saying that is was delivered successfully on Saturday the 16th (THANK GOD!!). BUT..here is the kicker...there seems to be some sort of error on the US EMBASSY's part. The guy I spoke with, said that for the date of when the packet 3 was actually sent to us...its says NOVEMBER 9th....Now I think most of us on here are not thick and have some common sense....so I am sure that it is safe to say that by them saying NOVEMBER 9th as being the date the packet 3 was sent is in obvious error. Could that actually be the date that Ian's interview is for???? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP...Ian is going to really be worried about this now. He is already worried that we can no longer track our case online.

yes... thats the interview date..

Embassy in pakistan for example send the interview date in packet 3 .. but there is a formal letter

that sayes interview date..blah blah .. bring blah blah..

Could it be a translation error? Remember the US writes dates as Month/Day/Year where as many other countries (I think UK included) writes Day/Month/Year. Perhpas they meant 11 September???

oh wowow I think you are right.. I did not realize they wrote dates in number format.

on the NOA its not number format.. its writen example: April 1, 1999

HMMMMMMMMMMM....now that would be one stupid a$$ because the packet 3 was mailed out and dated for sept. 11 2006. What a dumb ######. Now I guess I will just have to wait for the embassy to respond to my email.
