How long does it take for guyana to scehdule an interview date?

The US Embassy in Guyana told my fiance that it takes 1 to 3 months.

Hi queen b,

It took my fiance over 2 months to receive the interview date from when he submitted packet 3. He submitted the packet on 5/16 and we received the interview date on 7/29. According to an agent I spoke to some time ago, interview dates are assigned by some computer program. I think its based on how long you've been waiting since the time you submitted the petition and how many people have applied for immigrant visas. 277 days passed from the time I received the NOA1 and the interview date. Based on your NOA1 date, your interview date could be around 11/26 if you had to wait the same exact length of time I did (or probably 11/23 since its around the Thanksgiving holiday). This could would mean you would receive the notification of the interview toward the end of Oct. That's just to give you an idea. It may be sooner or later. Again it just depends on the number of other applicants.

Hang in there! I know the wait can be frustrating. I had my fiance calling every week to figure out what was going on. You will get the interview date.

Thanks for enlighten me on this long tiring interview process. lol... I guess I have no other choice but to continue to pray and wait patiently.
