My opinion and suggestions about PRISM + CFO

Fiance just attended PRISM in Manila on Monday and passed. She lives in metro manila.

1. I didnt realize that you had to travel by taxi from the PRISM office to the CFO office after the class. This takes some time maybe 20 minutes and if you take the PRISM Class later in the day, the CFO office will be already closed.

2. YOU should take only the 1000 class at PRISM ( US fiance/spouse) to make sure that you can get the sticker the same day from CFO. She took the 1:30 PM class and it ended late because it was full and then she couldnt get to CFO before it closed. WASTE OF TIME - to go back again the next day. Her PRISM class ended at almost 5pm - because the one-one counseling was very slow.

3. The clerk at PRISM also misspelled the names of several participants on the Certificates - this also resulted in the fiances having to come back again to get the certificates fixed BEFORE they went to CFO. Duh.

4. They did not ask my fiance to give any extra documents or proof at all, BUT they seemed to focus on the younger filipinas in there and the attitude of the PRISM workers was very strict, and not really too nice. Some of the fiances were seen giving in lots of documents, etc as you can read in previous posts. They did not show any movie at PRISM, just discussed awful situations of people who are abused, etc. Kind of negative.

5. Summary - even though she lives in metro manila, if I we could do again I would suggest to go to the St. Marys instead, there you can get the sticker at the same location, they seem to be nicer, even though its a further trip to travel to QC from Manila.

Good Luck!
