Greetings everyone,

My fiancée has an interview scheduled for next Friday at the manila embassy...Sept 2nd. She has not completed the medical at st. Luke's yet...as she was planning to do that today and tomorrow.

however her menstrual cycle has just begun and won't be finished until Saturday or so and the St. Luke's website says that a female of child bearing age should not go to the medical while menstruating. St. Luke's is closed on Monday and Tuesday of next week so she can't go in until Wednesday and Thursday of next week...and her interview is Friday of next week.

I've had to reschedule once because of her NBI clearance and it put us another 2 weeks out...I really don't want to reschedule again. Can someone please advise me on what we should do.

thanks so much for all of the help!!

you need to get her medical done at least one to two weeks before her interview. if she's in her menstrual cycle, she's gonna have to go after its done. st. lukes will forward her results to the embassy and if they haven't received the results, they will reschedule her interview again so you might as well reschedule the interview yourself. remember, one week leway from the medical and interview. no if's and buts

How did this work out? I am trying to work out a schedule with my fiance. Some posters say to wait minimum one week others say wait at least a day or two.

From what I gather those that say wait a week are giving additional time in the event that further and extended testing is needed he interview will not need to be rescheduled. Am I correct?

Is there any new news on this?

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!
