Any one aside from me and vic vic , waitng for october interview to open?

US Embassy Manila has open slots for August, September and October. I was able to request September 26. This gives my husband time to finish up whats needed prior to his USA trip.

US Embassy Manila Consulate Phone Number: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Philippines&cty=Manila

Visa Information and Appointment Service Call Hours and New Phone Number

The Visa Information and Appointment Service is now accessible from Monday to Friday only, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except on Philippine and U.S. holidays.

In addition to (632) 982-5555 and(214) 571-1600(for calls from the United States), immigrant and K visa applicants may also request a visa appointment via this new call center number: (632) 902-8930. This phone number is valid for CR1 filers as well. The above numbers is recommended for getting an interview appointment.

Also, you can call the embassy directly at +63-2-301-2000 ext. 5184-5185. It is difficult to get through to the correct people using these two extensions.

NVC said slots for september are closed. and no interview yet for october. are you certain with this? IR1 can schedule our interview?

For my situation, yes, I am certain. I'm the petitioner filing CR1 spouse. Our case was completed at NVC on August 16 and NVC was also telling me the same thing they're telling you. After conducting some research here on VJ under Embassy Info, I called the USEM Manila directly at (214) 571-1600 (as I'm in the USA). USEM emailed us interview confirmation letter right after my call.

According to the rep at US Embassy Manila, they have available slots for August, September and October and I opted for late September interview. I could have chosen an earlier date. However, this gives my husband time to finish up whats needed prior to his USA trip. Plus I plan on being with him for the interview.

Hi did you tell to the rep. that you are in cr1 visa not in k1 i think k1 visa is the one who pick any dates for their interview and the cr1 nvc is the one who pick for our date.

BUT if its true that the embassy said that we can choose our date for the interview how?did you try to sched?

When I spoke to the rep at USEM Manila, yes, I informed her that it's for CR1 visa appointment. And yes, I was able to choose a date. In fact, she provided open slots for August, September and October.

Also, they asked for NVC case number, therefore, they already knew which visa category based on NVC case number.
