What good and inexpensive hotel is close to the US embassy in MAnila

Just thinking if anybody here knows of an inexpensive but good hotel close to the US embassy in Manila. How much as their rate? Check in and check out time? Is it a walking distance or just a few minutes ride from the USEM. How about from the NAIA airport? Thanks VJ's

12/1/11 - 221g - Need police clearance qatar. SIGH

12/4/11 Hired a P.R.O to do the police clearance in Qatar

12/29/ P.R.O Mailed the PCC to my fiance using DHL

1/3/12 Received PCC from QATAR, dog chewed it :(

1/4/12 Sent the taped PCC to USEM

1/6/12 USEM received 221g

2/14/12 - APPROVED happy valentines day!

We stayed at the Bayview Park hotel the night before the interview. It wasn't too expensive, and just a short cab ride away from the embassy.

We usually stay down in Ermita at either the Lotus Garden hotel, or City Garden, and it was obviously nicer than that. All three are a relatively cheap cab ride away from the airport, too.

Of course, if you want to go even cheaper you can do that -- a/c often not included. There are some popular places right around St. Lukes that you can walk in and get, but we never bothered.
