Is anybody know how long the US embassy would give notification after they received the police certificate from HongKong?

HongKong police sent an email message to me saying that they've been sent my certification of no criminal conviction directly to the US embassy here in Manila through a registered airmail last July 18, 2011 last month, I've sent message to the US embassy but no reply from them.

How long is the waiting process to get notification from US embassy after HongKong Police sent my police certificate?

Hope someone can help me...... Thanks!!!!!!

I was in the exact position you are last week...waiting for the HK police certificate to arrive at the USEM. As far as I know, the embassy doesn't notify you that they have received it. I decided to call them myself. That's the only way to really know. The first time I called they said they hadn't received it yet...so I waited a week and called again and they told me they had received it and the visa was already approved, released and at the printer.

Just keep calling until you get the good news...
