Single Status Affidavit

Hello!

Can anyone tell me where I can get a Single Status Affidavit to get married in Dominican Republic? The Dominican Consulate in NYC said they no longer provide those, so that's not an option.

Thanks!

I got mine from the judge who married us. He had it all typed up and ready...I just read and signed! So that might be one option...

Best and cheapest way is to get it in the DR. I got one from the Consulate in San Francisco CA but it was expensive. On my second marriage, I got it in the DR, and it was much cheaper and more convenient. Most places that will marry you in the DR will do it for you right there. You will usually need your passport and your birth certificate for that.
