Am sending in all my forms next week, and have had my medical already.

Does anyone know when i send everything in if i can ring the consulate and say "hey i jst mailed you all my stuff can i make an interview time now over the phone?"

Or, do I have to wait for them to mail me a time?

Just trying to cut down some of the waiting time :)

I'm pretty sure you can. They are pretty accommodating from what I've heard. Can you let us know back on this post how you get on when you have talked to them about that? Good luck!!

Not sure but you can try.

The consulate was pretty quick to respond to me with an interview date though - it was only eight days from when I mailed back Packet 3 to when I received Packet 4 with the interview date.

How far in the future was your interview set for?

Like 2 / 3 weeks, a month?
