I-94 for the people came under VWP ??

Hi Guys! Im really curious and worried right now becuase

i filled all the forms for I-130 and I-485 couple of weeks ago and i also got NOA 1 and finished the biometrics taken.

does that means nothing is wrong with my paper work?

one thing that really bothers me and worries me is , that i came to the US under the Visa Waiver Programm so i didn't get to write any I-94 .

they just put the stamp and date on my passport and let me in ( i copied the entry paper of my passport and sent it with the package)

But i knew that I-94 was required for the application works so i asked one lawyer about it but he said i don't have to worry about it since i 'never' got it.

is that true? i don't have to worry about it ? should i have sent my ESTA record?

anyone knows ? :/

You send a photo copy of your passport picture I'd page and the passport stamp. You should have filled out an I-94w on the plane, unless the system has changed since last October. As said before, just send in your passport pages listed above. You'll be fine. They will contact you of any errors or missing details in the future. It's best that you sign up to the uscis website to get live updates of your status. I suggest the text messaging service.

P.s unless your case is a cause for concern I.e you have committed some crimes in the past. Don't bother hiring a lawyer if the paperwork seems straight forward to you. If you need any help or advice filling it out, take the paperwork to your local uscis office and request a ticket. The I.o's at the front desks will be able to assist you.
