They gave us the 'every 2nd and third week of the month' script when hubby called NVC to inquire about our interview date after we got SIF and CC. I dunno if it's right or just pure coincidence but we got our schedule the second week of June for July 14. Some said it depends on the availability of slots. I've seen people who got their interview schedule set outside of that 2nd and 3rd week spiel from NVC. Mine was 10 business day after CC. I guess it's a case to case basis.

Well this is the second week of the month so I hope it will come fast.

I hope you get yours soon. I doubt there will be slots available for July but I'm hoping you can get an early August (or as long as it's August if there's no early date available anymore).

I know that I won't get a July date. I do want an August date soon as possible.

I scheduled my fiance's interview May 24th and they only had one slot available - June 28th. So it's probably based on what is available...I've also read about the 2nd week etc.

My advice would be to just keep calling...maybe someone will cancel their appointment and open up a slot for you.

K-1 visa and CR-1 visa go different routes. We have to wait for NVC to schedule our interviews since K-1 pay their visa their.
