Hi everyone,

I am new here and wanted to get insights for the brilliant people here with all kinds of experiences with CR-1 visa. My Husband interview appointment was in 04/11/2011 and he was approved but pending AP, his interview was smooth and everything and the CO told him that she had no worries about this relationship but it had to undergo mandatory AP, they said that most cases are resolved in three months. Anyhow, coming july 11th is our third month mark. on 06/30th my hubby decides to just go to the embassy and inquire about any update in status, to his surprise they tell him, oh your visa is ready we tried to call you but couldnt get hold of you, thats not true because we were so eager and glued to our phones and emailes and nothing came from them, and we were emailing them consistantly with unfortunate replies from them that the case still pending AP. anyway, we got the visa pick up letter and was told to pick up the visa in 07/06/2011, and when he got the embassy on that day they seemed confused and gave him a letter that says to return on tuesday or thursday and they asked him silly quesitons like did you submit police report, did u submit medical check ups like whatttt, he already did all that and he is to pick up the visa.. anyway he goes back the next thursday and after making him wait for the longest time, they tell him that the CO that needs to make a decision had left for the day or is out of the office, they will call back when she gets back. what does this mean? my hubby is so frustrated with this whole annoying process. all of our process went by smooth no RFE's or any proof this proof that, everything we had was legit. has anyone experienced such thing before? i am wondering why are they doing this?
