Hi, I am a category C14 (deferred status) applicant for AOS through marriage. In my case, I was granted the deferred status for my assistance in aiding the government. In doing so, many years ago, I was forced to surrender my passport, birth certificate, etc...

Here is my question:

I submitted my i130, i485, i765, and i131 concurrently. Checks were cashed, I received the NOA's, and did the biometrics appointment already. I have not yet received a RFE (due to my lack of access to a passport and birth certificate) but I am keeping my fingers crossed that there's something in my immigration file that explains my situation (the reason as to why I have no birth certificate to provide them with, etc..)

Does anyone have any idea what usually happens in cases like mine? If they send me an RFE, I'm at a loss as to what I can possibly send them that I haven't already...

And finally, the most important question:

Since I filed the i131 (advance parole), I neglected to realize that it's pretty useless to me considering I can't use it for travel (due to lack of an NP). Can I resubmit the i131, and file for a RD even though I haven't gotten my approval yet for GC? This would save me 3 additional months of waiting in the end, as it takes 3 months to process an i131 travel document for re-entry (after approval for a GC). And do I have to pay the filing fee again?

Basically, AP is pretty much useless without an NP. And I have no access to an NP... what are my options?
